According to Title 7, Section 166, Code of Alabama, 1940, recomplied 1958, the attorney general was made a party to any suit in a circuit court which concerned a constitutional issue. These files contain copies of complaints and summonses issued to the attorney general under this law. Some of them contain copies of the attorney general's reply.
